Nomic Embed Text is an open-source English text embedding model from Nomic AI with a context of up to 8,192 tokens and fully released training data. It produces 768-dimensional embeddings that can be shortened, and expects task prefixes such as search_query and search_document for retrieval, clustering and classification.
