Subscription Terms

Version 2026-10-28 · Effective October 29, 2026

Your plan renews automatically every month until you cancel

  • Automatic monthly charge. When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your plan's monthly price (Chat $8, Plus $20 or Max $100, plus any tax shown at checkout) to your payment method now and again every month, without asking you each time, until you cancel.
  • Cancel online at any time. Cancel from the Billing page in your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your plan keeps working until the end of the month you have already paid for.
  • Price and plan changes come with notice. We can change plan prices and what plans include. A price increase, or a reduction to what your plan includes, applies only from a renewal at least 14 days after we notify you, and you can cancel before then at no cost.
  • No refunds for partial months. Except where the law requires a refund, a month you have paid for is not refunded when you cancel or change plans.

About these terms

These Subscription Terms supplement the Terms of Service and apply when you buy an AnonRouter monthly subscription. Everything in the Terms of Service still applies, including the dispute resolution and arbitration sections. If these Subscription Terms and the Terms of Service disagree about a subscription, these Subscription Terms govern for that subscription.

You accept these terms, and authorize the recurring charge, when you click Subscribe or confirm the payment in your account. You accept them again each time you change plans.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived or limited by contract. Where a law in your location gives you more time, more notice, or a refund that these terms do not, the law applies.

Plans and price

Three monthly plans are offered, priced in US dollars:

PlanPrice per monthAllowance per monthRolling 5 hoursRolling 7 days
Chat$8$8$3$5
Plus$20$20$8$10
Max$100$100$40$50

Chat is designed for conversation and creative writing rather than coding or agent workloads. That describes what the plan is sized for. It does not restrict which models, features or API access you can use, and all three plans work the same way under these terms.

Tax, if any, is shown at checkout before you pay. The plan, price and limits shown at checkout are the ones that apply when you subscribe, and they can change later only as described in Changes we may make. Subscriptions are paid by card, including supported digital wallets, through our payment processor. Card details never reach our servers.

Automatic monthly renewal

Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel it. Each renewal is charged automatically to the payment method your plan renews on, at your plan's monthly price in effect at that renewal plus any applicable tax. Renewals fall on the monthly anniversary of the day your subscription started, or of the day you last upgraded. You can see your next renewal date, and change the card your plan renews on, on the Billing page.

A new month, with a new allowance, starts only once its renewal payment succeeds. If a renewal payment fails, no new allowance is issued until it is paid. We or our payment processor may retry a failed payment, and if it cannot be collected the subscription may end.

Your allowance

Each paid month includes a usage allowance equal to your plan's monthly price. The allowance pays for model usage at your plan's subscriber prices for the model and route you use, as they are when each request starts. Subscriber prices depend on your plan and are lower than pay-as-you-go prices on many routes, so an allowance can cover more usage than the same amount of prepaid credits.

Your allowance is a dollar amount, not a number of requests or tokens. How far it goes depends on the models you use, how you use them, and their prices at the time, so it varies from month to month and from person to person. A subscription is not unlimited usage.

One allowance is shared by Chat and the API across your account. It is not a separate grant for each model, workspace or API key. Free models stay free and never use your allowance.

Usage limits

Three limits apply at the same time, and a request fits your plan only if it fits within all of them:

  • Rolling 5 hours: usage in any 5-hour period can reach your plan's 5-hour limit in the table above. On Plus and Max that is 40% of the monthly allowance; on Chat it is $3.
  • Rolling 7 days: usage in any 7-day period can reach your plan's 7-day limit in the table above. On Plus and Max that is 50% of the monthly allowance; on Chat it is $5.
  • Paid month: usage across the paid month can reach 100% of the allowance.

When a request starts, an estimate of its largest possible cost is reserved against these limits. When it finishes, the reservation is settled to the actual usage and any unused part is released. Usage leaves a rolling period as that period moves past it, and usage in the rolling periods keeps counting across a renewal or an upgrade. The monthly allowance starts fresh only when the next month is paid.

When a limit is reached

"Use credit when limit is reached" is a setting on your subscription, and it is on by default. While it is on, a request that your 5-hour, 7-day or monthly limit cannot cover is paid in full from your prepaid credits, at our standard pay-as-you-go prices, instead of being refused. If your credits cannot cover it, the request is refused. Requests paid this way do not count toward your allowance or your limits, and subscriber prices do not apply to them.

You can turn the setting off at any time on the Billing page in your account. While it is off, a request that does not fit within your limits is refused and your credits are not used. Your choice stays in place if you cancel and later subscribe again.

A subscription never buys credits for you and never turns on auto top-up. If you have turned on auto top-up yourself, credits spent under this setting count like any other credit spending and can trigger a top-up under the auto top-up terms you accepted.

No rollover, no overage billing

Unused allowance expires at the end of each paid month and does not roll over. Allowance cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash or credits.

We never bill overage to your payment method. Beyond your allowance, usage is paid only from prepaid credits you already hold, as described in When a limit is reached.

Prepaid credits stay separate

Prepaid credits and subscriptions are separate. Credits you buy keep the rules in the Terms of Service, including the service fee shown when you buy them and their validity period. Credits are never added to an allowance, and an allowance never becomes credits. Credits are spent for a subscriber only as described in these terms.

Web search

Where web search is available, each search that completes successfully costs $0.006, the pay-as-you-go price, for every account, including accounts with a plan. Searches are paid from your prepaid credits, not from your allowance, and subscriber prices do not apply to them. A search that fails is not charged. The model usage in the same request is paid like any other request. Like per-model prices, the web search price can change at any time.

Rate limits

Paid models have the same rate limits on every account, with or without a plan. While your subscription is active and its current month is paid, your plan raises your rate limits on free models, including the Free Models Router: more requests and tokens per minute, more requests at once, and a larger share of free capacity, rising from Chat to Max. Free capacity is shared and is never guaranteed.

Every account remains subject to model availability, provider capacity and abuse controls.

Privacy

A subscription does not change how we handle your content. We do not store your prompts or responses. We keep limited usage records, such as the model, token counts and cost, to bill for usage and run the service. A subscription never changes your privacy settings, your workspace privacy boundary, or which privacy levels your requests may use, and it never routes a request to a less private provider.

Changing plans

You can change plans yourself from the Billing page or the pricing page. Before you confirm, we show what the change costs and when it takes effect.

Upgrading to a higher-priced plan takes effect right away. A new month on the new plan starts that day, with its full allowance, and renews monthly from that day. You pay the new plan's monthly price minus a credit for the unused part of your current month, charged at once to the payment method your plan renews on. The credit is the smaller of your unused allowance and the share of what you paid for your current month that matches the time left in it. Your current month ends when the upgrade is paid, and its unused allowance does not carry over. Usage already counted in your rolling limits keeps counting under the new plan. If the payment does not go through, nothing changes. An upgrade also cancels a pending cancellation or a scheduled switch to a lower plan. An upgrade may be unavailable for a short time just before your renewal.

Switching to a lower-priced plan takes effect at your next renewal. You keep your current plan and its allowance until the end of the paid month, then your subscription renews on the lower plan at its price. Nothing is refunded or credited for the switch. You can undo the switch at any time before it takes effect. If you had cancelled, choosing a lower plan turns renewal back on at the lower plan's price.

Cancelling

You can cancel online at any time from the Billing page in your account: open the plan menu and choose Cancel renewal. You do not need to contact us. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid month. Your remaining allowance stays usable until then, and you will not be charged again for that subscription. If you have trouble cancelling online, email support and we will cancel it for you.

Refunds

Subscription payments are final. We do not refund partial months, including when you cancel, change plans, or stop using the service, except where a refund is required by law. Support may review a request and approve a refund at its discretion. An upgrade credit is a reduction of the upgrade price, not a refund.

Refunds, reversals and disputes

If a subscription payment is refunded, reversed or disputed, we may at once place your subscription on hold while we review it. During a hold, your allowance and plan benefits stop, renewals are stopped, and new subscriptions and plan changes on your account are blocked. We may remove allowance that the payment paid for. A hold stays until we clear it.

Changes we may make

We need to be able to adjust plans as our costs, our providers and how people use the service change. These are the rules we follow.

Plan prices. We may change the monthly price of any plan at any time. A new price applies to your subscription only from your first renewal at least 14 days after we notify you. If you do not want to pay the new price, cancel before that renewal; there is no penalty and you keep your plan until the end of the month you have paid for. If you do not cancel, the new price is charged at that renewal and every renewal after it.

What a plan includes. We may change allowances, the rolling usage limits, rate limits, fair-use limits and the features a plan includes. A change that reduces what your plan includes applies from your first renewal at least 14 days after we notify you, and you can cancel before then. A change that only improves your plan can apply at once.

Changes that cannot wait. We may limit, suspend or change any part of a subscription immediately, without notice, when reasonably needed to deal with abuse, fraud, a security threat or a legal requirement, or because an upstream provider changes or stops its service. This never brings forward a change to your plan's monthly price, which always follows the notice rule above.

Models, providers and prices per request. Models, providers and routes may be added, removed or replaced at any time, and no plan guarantees that any specific model, provider or route stays available. Per-model prices, including subscriber prices, and the web search price follow the market and can change at any time, including during a paid month. Each request uses the prices in effect when it starts.

Plans. We may add, rename or retire plans. Renaming a plan does not change your subscription. If we retire your plan, your subscription moves to the available plan closest to it in monthly price at your first renewal at least 14 days after we notify you, unless you cancel or choose another plan first. If we stop offering subscriptions altogether, yours will not renew, and your current paid month continues until it ends.

How we notify you. We send notices by email to the address on your account. If your account has no email address, we show the notice on the Billing page in your account instead, so check it from time to time. A notice says what is changing, when it applies, and how to cancel.

Changes to these terms

We may publish a new version of these Subscription Terms. Each version has its own date and stays online, so you can always read the version you accepted. A new version that raises your price or reduces your rights or what your plan includes applies to your subscription from your first renewal at least 14 days after we notify you, and you can cancel before then. Other changes, and changes required by law, apply when the new version is published. If you keep your subscription after a new version applies to it, the new version governs it.
